Rolats also ships the reverse corridor — cargo from Zimbabwe to the UK by air and sea, routed via Durban or Beira, door-to-door to any UK address. We handle personal effects, documents, gifts and commercial goods. Car shipping is not offered on the reverse leg (UK→Africa only). Air freight is £5.90/kg plus £20 handling; sea cargo from £70 per bag.
What you can send Zimbabwe → UK
The reverse corridor covers everything except vehicles:
- Personal effects and household goods
- Documents and parcels
- Gifts, clothing and foodstuffs (subject to UK import rules)
- Commercial cargo and samples
Car shipping is UK→Zimbabwe only and is not available on the return leg.
How reverse shipping works
We coordinate collection in Zimbabwe, ship by air or sea via the regional ports (Durban or Beira) and deliver door-to-door to any UK address. Because Zimbabwe is landlocked, sea cargo travels overland to the port first — we manage the corridor end to end.
UK customs on arrival
Cargo entering the UK clears HMRC on arrival. As an HMRC Customs Authorised, EORI-registered forwarder we prepare the import documentation so your goods clear cleanly, and advise on UK restrictions (for example certain foodstuffs) before you ship.
What it costs
Air freight is £5.90 per kg plus a £20 handling charge; sea cargo starts from £70 per bag; containers are quote-only. Pricing is all-in, in GBP. Send your item list and the collection point in Zimbabwe for an exact quote.
