Air or sea — which for your parcel?
It comes down to speed versus cost.
- Air freight — £5.90/kg + £20 handling; arrives in a few working days; best for documents, gifts, electronics and anything urgent
- Sea cargo — from £70 per bag; takes a few weeks; best for bigger or heavier boxes where timing is flexible
We'll advise the cheaper route for what you're sending.
How to send your parcel
Three simple ways to get your parcel moving:
- Drop it at our Dagenham depot
- Book nationwide UK collection from your door
- Send us the contents, weight and destination for a quote first
We pack, ship, clear customs and deliver to the recipient's door.
What it costs
Air freight is £5.90 per kg plus a £20 handling charge; sea cargo starts from £70 per bag. Everything is all-in, in GBP, with no charges at the Ghanaian end beyond any government duty. Heavier or bulkier parcels are cheaper by sea.
Customs & delivery in Ghana
We raise the CTN (Cargo Tracking Note) and prepare the documentation so your parcel clears Ghanaian customs without delay, then deliver to the recipient's door in Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, Tamale and across the regions.
What you can send
Gifts, clothing, shoes, documents, electronics, foodstuffs (subject to import rules), baby items and personal effects. Ask us about anything you're unsure of before you send it.
